All of St. Bart's girls and boys, from grades 5th through 12th, are encouraged to prayerfully consider becoming an altar server. They assist the priests with Sunday and weekday liturgy and on other special liturgical occasions. We currently have about 70 servers but the number varies from year to year. We provide training in the fall, a session in the afternoon and another in the evening to accommodate conflicting schedules. There is also specialized training for those youth who want to become senior servers.
