Listen for God’s Invitation

Mother Teresa wrote: "Feel often during the day the need for prayer, and take trouble to pray. Prayer enlarges the heart until it is capable of containing God’s gift of himself. Ask and seek, and your heart will grow big enough to receive him and keep him as your own." She also said: "Tomorrow has not come, yesterday has gone. We have only today to love God and one another as God loves us."

Join us in exploring our faith as the year unfolds. Parishoners can attend the Tuesday Morning Scripture StudyGroup, the Tuesday Evening Lecture Series, the Thursday Afternoon Faith Study Group, and/or the Faith and Fiction Book Group.

Maybe you just want to learn more about the Catholic faith. Perhaps you are thinking of converting—or maybe you were born Catholic but did not complete all the sacraments. Starting in mid-September the RCIA class (Rite of Christian Initiantion) will meet Thursday evenings 7:00 pm 9:00 pm in the Parish Meeting Room.

Our mission, as Saint Bartholomew’s Catholic Community, is to nourish our love of god through Jesus Christ under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In the Eucharist, together with Jesus, we celebrate, give thanks, and recognize our need to forgive and be forgiven.
As stewards of God’s mercy, we strive to share our gifts with all Gods people by praying together, preaching and teaching the word of God and responding to those in need.
