Please notify the Rectory Office if you know of any parishioner who is sick or homebound so that we can bring them the Eucharist or the Sacrament of the Sick at 301-229-7933.

 

By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ. (Lumen Gentium, 11)

Anointing of the sick is available for any parishioner who is sick or homebound and would like to receive the Sacrament. Please contact the Parish Office so arrangements can be made.

Annually, St. Bart's offers a special Mass for those parishioners who are infirm and those wishing to be anointed are invited to participate. Please see St.Bart's calendar for specific date and time.
