TEACHER: Julia Constable-Allen (juliaconstableallen@yahoo.com or Ext. 29)

Availability: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during school hours.

Emotional health is an important prerequisite to learning. Children who are feeling confident and good about themselves are much more available in their classroom settings. The Counselor's role at St. Bart’s is to help facilitate the emotional health of the students here, in order to facilitate their educational experience. The ways in which we achieve this include meetings with individual students one on one, and possibly in small groups, doing presentations in the classrooms and running specialized groups as the need arises. Together with the teacher and parent input, the Counselor can plan to be proactive in working with the kids before problems arise.

If you have any questions for Mrs. Allen, please do not hesitate to call her or send her an email.
