Giving to St. Barts
Giving back to St. Bartholomew is essential to the continued progress and success of the school. Tuition alone cannot support its overall operating expenses. As a nonprofit organization, St. Barts depends on the generosity of its families, community, and alumni to ensure that its students and faculty are provided the best educational resources.
Although the Annual Gala is known as the school's biggest fund raising effort where parents, grandparents, the parish community, and alumni are encouraged to participate, there are many opportunities for giving to St. Bartholomew School. These gifts go directly toward funding financial aid, teacher salaries, improvement and addition of facilities, and other such expenses of running a school.
Here are some opportunities to give back to St. Barts throughout the year. These events are announced in our website as well as the Sunday parish bulletin. Please watch out for them.
- Flower Funds - Depending on the season, St. Barts offers a variety of flowers for sale
(i.e., tulips, azaleas, mums, etc.)
- Annual Golf Classic - Usually held in April, this event raises funds not only for the school but for the many programs of the St. Barts-CYO.
- Fund Run - 5K/2mi run/walk that takes place some time in the Fall.
If you wish to discuss a gift or contribution you would like to make to the school, please email Kathy Miller, the School Principal or speak with her directly at 301-229-5586.
