Greetings from the Principal
(...continued)

We provide a safe and loving environment where your child will learn academics but more important where they will learn to become good Christians and good citizens. They will learn to help their neighbors, be kind, patient and responsible. They will learn to imitate Christ in all they do.

As educators, we will foster this growth every step of the way, by modeling Christian values and using "teachable moments" to discuss "what Jesus would do" when faced with difficult decisions. We offer Religion as a major subject but Religion is also carefully woven into every academic subject.

As parents, we ask that you be role models for your children. They will learn from your kindness and patience. We have so many parents who give much of their time and energy to make our school so wonderful. Your children are witnesses to your generosity and they, in turn, will be generous to others. We know that you have made sacrifices to send your children here. Be assured that you have made the right decision.

We ask that you trust us to take care of your children. Leaving your child at the door is the hardest thing a parent can do. But it is the best thing for a child to experience. It is time for children to grow and spread their wings. Our school is a place for children to learn, to laugh, to pray, to grow, to make mistakes and to accomplish wonderful things. After nine years at St. Bartholomew, students are both academically and spiritually ready to face their high school years. Every year, our graduates had an opportunity to express their appreciation to the school. They explained that the most wonderful things about our school were the caring teachers and their lifelong friends. We welcome you to our school.
