The St. Bart Hospitality Ministry is called "New in the Pew".  Participants in this ministry welcome newly-registered parishioners with a personal phone call in which we give them information about church and school programs, invite them to upcoming parish events, and encourage them to use the St. Bart's website for further details about parish life. We meet the newly-registered parishioners at the Mass of their choice to say hello and we invite them to become active and engaged in one of our many organizations or ministries. When time permits, we also invite them to meet other parishioners after the 8:30A.M. or 10:00 A.M. Masses for coffee and doughnuts. Finally, from time to time we are called upon to coordinate a special reception for a departing or an arriving priest or religious.

This committee requires only a few hours a month, but is very rewarding.
