From Bible studies, to book clubs, to spiritual support groups, to groups for working men, St. Bartholomew offers a variety of small groups to enrich our spiritual lives. All parishioners are encouraged to participate in a small group experience whether it be within the family, a gathering of friends or other groups that are formed here in the community.
The groups generally start up again in September after the summer months. Please contact each ministry leader for updates.
Tuesday Morning Group
The Tuesday Morning Bible Group meets September - June on Tuesdays, 9-10.30 , currently in the room on the school gym stage located on campus. We use the Loyola Press Bible Series “A Guided Discovery for Groups”. These books give structure and enable scripture discussions in a small group setting and help to increase our understanding of the Bible and how to apply it to our daily lives. Mutual Support and Spiritual Development
Saint Bart's Men’s Group is an informal Zoom gathering of men, both in and outside the parish. Our goal is to grow in the practice of our faith. We share practical insights about our spiritual life and our experiences in carrying out Christ’s message in today’s world. We listen to each other as we share insights.
We meet on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 9:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. via Zoom. A topic to start each meeting’s discussion is suggested beforehand by a member of the group.
Please join us by contacting Tony Albrecht at [email protected], 215-984-8772 or

“It is Jesus [who] you seek when you dream of happiness; he is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; he is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is he who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is he who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is he who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle.”
